The Tea Party by Anna Towner suggests that this is a party involving the sitter and you the viewer. So by my calculations that makes two strawberry tarts each! A vintage cake stand and classic china tea set is only surpassed by the picturesque setting of a country cottage with the thatched roof, perfectly cut lawn and boarders of foxgloves. Isn't that what we all picture an afternoon tea should be? I think the dogs sad eyes might make for a titbit hitting the floor when no-one is looking. Shall I pour?
